Come ride the Steamboat Horses with us. We offer hourly horseback rides, summer pack trips, and hunting camps. Our family has been in the valley for 6 generations. We've been outfitting and riding through the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness area, located in the Routt National Forest, since 1962.

With over 114 sq. miles of total wilderness - including more than 40 lakes and many streams and trails - your trip with us through the majestic Rocky Mountains will be an experience of a lifetime.

The wranglers, guides, and crew are all experienced horse riders and some have guided for most of their lives. We attend clinics given by horse trainers such as: John Lyons, Ray Hunt, Pat Parelli, Clinton Anderson, Bill Smith, and Marty Marten. At the ranch, you will ride on scenic deer and elk trails in a wilderness environment. Even on the shorter rides you will probably see Colorado wildlife in a natural environment. Truly a trip worth remembering. A journey into yesterday on horseback.

We offer a FREE shuttle to the ranch from Steamboat Springs in the winter.
Our office is open every day, but we may not answer the phone on Sunday when we are out for a ride.
